If you are outside of your warranty period and a repair is required, we offer a full collection, inspection & repair service at a nominal cost. Collection and inspection can be arranged, and the cost of repair can be advised upon review.
Air loss from your CleverSpa® can be caused from a problem with the valves or by a hole in the liner.
Clever Company accept no responsibility for punctures to your CleverSpa®.
In the first instance, please check all the valves are fitted correctly, with the screw thread on straight and tight.
Have you located a puncture?
Please check for any visible punctures. Punctures can be located by using washing up liquid, diluted in water, on the surface of your CleverSpa® liner. Any escaping air will cause visible bubbles.
If you are happy to do so, you can attempt a repair. We recommend you do this when your CleverSpa® is empty and inflated. If the puncture is quite large, you should keep the pump on whilst you make the repair to avoid it deflating before you can apply the repair patch supplied with your CleverSpa®.
Ensure the surface you are repairing is clean and dry before applying the repair patch. We recommended using Loctite® Super Glue (not supplied). Trim the repair patch to the required size, ensuring it is large enough to completely cover the puncture. Apply the glue directly to the repair patch and carefully stick in place. Leave the patch and glue to set for at least 10 minutes before filling your CleverSpa® with water.
If you wish to have it repaired by our Service Team, we can arrange to collect and inspect your CleverSpa®. If, upon inspection, a puncture is found (not covered by the warranty), we will forward a photograph of the puncture site. There are then 2 options: -
a. If you decide to repair the puncture yourself, email us to confirm this. We will mark the puncture site and call to collect a payment of £25, to cover the review and courier charge
b. If you would like us to repair the puncture, we will call to collect a payment of £35 to cover the review, repair, and courier charge.
