How much will it cost me to run my CleverSpa®?

How much does it cost to run?

We estimate the following costs, based on customer feedback. Costs will vary based on electricity supplier and use frequency:

NO INSULATION - 14p/hr - £3.47 a day
THERMAL COVER - 8p/hr - £2.05 a day
THERMAL BASE - 6p/hr - £1.64 a day

CleverSpa® running costs

Running costs will vary depending on your electricity provider's tariffs. You also need to consider how often and for how long you use your CleverSpa®. Please check with your electrical supplier for up to date tariffs if you need to calculate the usage costs.

We recommend that your CleverSpa® heater is only switched on 24-36 hours prior to use, in order to keep costs down to a minimum. Using the filter system to circulate the water when not heating will help in maintaining the health of your water.

Have you considered purchasing a thermal cover?

A good way of keeping running costs down is by using a thermal cover. This will improve heat retention due to the thermal insulation making it up to 50% more energy efficient – saving you money!

Our thermal covers are waterproof to HH 3000mm, as well as UPF 50+ providing protection from extreme weather conditions.
